Life is full of all kinds of art forms. We begin to absorb it into our minds unconsciously as soon as we open our eyes in the morning. Vineyard Artists will invite artists and musicians to visit from time to time, allowing children to interact and learn closely with active artists to learn about different forms of art and styles. Let us walk into the world of artists together!

Special Artist – Sophia Wu

Ms. Sophia graduated from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has more than 10 years of experience in fabric design in New York. She now lives in Boston and runs her own studio – Blind & Naked.

Ms. Sophia has been invited to participate in the world’s most recognized latest fabric trend exhibition every year, showcasing the world’s latest fabric fashion trends – the Paris Premiere Vision.
After the fabrics she designed are bought by clothing dealers and fashionistas around the world, they are made into beautiful clothes.

Tie Dye

Tie-dying is one of the oldest methods of decorating cloth and spans a world of inventiveness stretching from South America, Africa, China, India, Indonesia and Japan. It’s a resist dyeing technique with maneuvers like binding, twisting, and stitching to prevent dye from permeating certain parts of the fabric, thus creating a pattern!

In this special course, Ms. Sophia will introduce in detail the history of fabrics, the different dyes and tools used for skeining, and how to bundle fabrics to create different effects. Kids will try different binding methods on musilin fabric to create unique patterns and patterns!
In addition, we also prepared pure white cotton masks, allowing children to dye beautiful colors and patterns on the masks. The students can put this mask to the outer layer of the medical masks they usually wear. It is not only beautiful and unique, parents can also find your children at a glance outside!
